BCCC CHANGES LIVES.
Confidence, dedication, patience, discipline — any adolescent who enters adulthood
with these lifetime lessons is indeed fortunate. To learn them while creating beautiful
music is truly a gift. That’s what BCCC has been doing since 1992.
- We’re working hard to make life-changing opportunities more accessible
to children of all economic backgrounds - to keep opportunities alive for any child
who wants to learn and grow through excellence in choral music.
- Our headquarters and rehearsals are located in downtown Reading,
Pennsylvania, in the geographically accessible, GoggleWorks, the city’s premier
non-profit arts center.
- We count on the best-in-class talent and dedication of our directors:
Jennifer Adam, Artistic Director and Director of Chorale; Jodi Rinehimer, Director
of MasterSingers and Director of Choristers; and Heather Claus, Director
of Training
Chorus.

The Berks Classical Children's Chorus consists of young people ages
8 - 18. We are a professionally trained and rigorously educated music ensemble.
We sing the world's great music - Bach to Beatles and everything in between!
The singers gain experience through weekly rehearsals, regular performances and
lots of work with great dedicated teachers, staff, parents, and volunteers. Through
a rigorous music curriculum, the singers acquire an outstanding education and learn
crucial life lessons—like teamwork, time management, priority setting, self-presentation,
communication and personal responsibility. Our singers are held to high expectations
that they want to meet.
The Berks Classical Children's Chorus performs in Reading, Berks County, and distant
locations like Rhode Island and Virginia. We sing in concert halls, churches, nursing
homes, hospitals, and community centers. Audiences enjoy the wonder of live performances
given joyfully and enthusiastically with innocence and the spontaneity of youth.
